We are looking for a QA Tester to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches.

In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you. As a QA Tester you will ensure that Deventure products are as bug free as possible through the use of automated test suites and promoting testing practices to the rest of the team.

We need qualified software testers to validate when the requirements of the deployment are met. We also believe strongly in embedding our testers in the development teams. This allows us to identify potential issues faster and earlier in the development process.

essential duties and responsibilities

- review and analyze system specifications

- collaborate with QA to develop effective strategies and test plans

- execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results

- create logs to document testing phases and defects

- report bugs and errors to development teams

- help troubleshoot issues

- conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing

- work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

- documenting issues using a bug-tracking system

- perform functional testing, regression testing and keep track of all the new developments

- perform manual exploratory and acceptance testing of new features being iteratively developed as part of agile development methodology

-experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role

-experience working in Agile development teams

-familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing basic SQL skills

-BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
